About Our Community Leader | Pagan Community

My name is Laina Pilkenton and I am so grateful for this community. I began my journey into spirituality by studying Core Shamanism. My path then evolved into exploring Andean Shamanism, Sound Healing, and Reiki. From there, I felt the call of the Northern tradition. And so, I began working directly with the Norse gods and goddesses prior to learning more traditional ways from a teacher.

My role as a Spiritual Leader is one that I take seriously (but not too seriously - after all, the Divine does encourage us to laugh, dance, and sing). But by "taking it seriously," I mean that my role is to swim in the Spiritual waters daily. My path is to learn, grow, read, journey, and expand myself and my knowledge base so that I can assist others on their path, whatever that looks like.

I am not someone who believes in upholding 100% traditional beliefs (remember that what we currently have knowledge of is limited), nor am I someone who believes in a 100% modern pagan (Northern) practice. Using a blended approach, I facilitate community activities is by:

Acknowledging and honoring tradition
Sensing into what the Collective needs at this time
Inviting in the intentions and perspectives of the Divine (deities, ancestors, land spirits, etc.)

In this way, I work to facilitate what we need as pagans who are living modern lives need to feel grounded, connected, and supported. If this sounds like the right community space for you, I hope you'll consider joining us.
